Who publishes Krayv?

Krayv is an independent kitchen tool, published under the Krayv name as an individual project. It is not affiliated with USDA, Open Food Facts or Google. The publisher is responsible for the site’s own instructions and examples; reference food records remain attributed to their original sources.

For practical guidance, visit Krayv Help. The guide covers saving, moving between devices, missing data, PDF downloads and source corrections. No professional nutrition credentials or clinical service are claimed.

For support, feedback or corrections, contact Krayv at kout@me.com. This is the site’s monitored public support address.

A useful free core

Recipe editing, ingredient review, serving changes, weekly planning, shopping lists, pantry matching, cook mode, print and JSON backups work in your browser without an account. This first version is for personal organisation. Nutrition estimates use explicitly selected USDA records and measured ingredient weights. This is not a clinical nutrition service, a recipe marketplace or a collaborative household account.

Honest examples and imagery

The three starter recipes are original Krayv demonstrations written for this product. They have not been tested in a kitchen. Their food photographs were generated for editorial illustration, rather than photographed from a completed recipe. Your own recipes and adaptations are labelled separately.

Your own recipes, respectfully kept

Keep recipes you created or have permission to store, and preserve source attribution where relevant. Krayv does not scrape public websites or republish imported recipes. Its local importer reads Recipe JSON-LD supplied by you and asks you to review it before saving. A source URL is retained as a note only.

Built to be used again

Krayv is for ongoing meal organisation: keeping recipes, planning the week and shopping from that plan. Quick baking calculations, such as those in TwoGrams, serve a different moment in the kitchen. The goal here is a calmer recurring routine. The useful core stays free: saving and editing recipes, planning meals, making shopping lists, checking the pantry, cooking, printing and exporting backups. There is no paywall, subscription or checkout. Importing pasted Recipe JSON-LD or a local HTML/JSON file is available with an editable preview. Fetching a recipe directly from a website URL and automatic cloud sync are not available.

Practical limits

Ingredient parsing needs review, cooking times do not scale automatically, and the pantry only knows what you select. Keep regular backups. If you need to move to another device, export the workspace and import it there.
